Kosmos & Parasol

The Kosmos is actually an object that is well worth seeing. This new Extremis piece of furniture is not only very pleasant to look at, it is also unique because of its double functionality. Initially, the Kosmos could be just a piece of furniture allowing 9 people to sit in a circle, around a table, on comfortable cushions covered with white leatherette. But it's not just that: in a jiffy, you can lower the table at which you just enjoyed a delicious lunch to seat height. By placing the provided cushion on the table top, you get a flat surface on which you can comfortably extend your legs, up to 4 people at the same time!

For the design of the Kosmos, Dirk Wynants was clearly inspired by a maritime atmosphere. The result: a particularly elegant object that invites you to sit comfortably with your guests. And if the sun is out, Dirk Wynants has even imagined a parasol that can be handled with the greatest simplicity. Just like a small fan, it opens or closes horizontally. You almost have to see it to believe it. Forget pulleys and other systems.
