Careful:

Fill the fountain with demineralized water or rainwater. If you fill it with tap water, from time to time you need to take the pump out of the fountain and place it in a bucket of fresh water with a little vinegar.
In winter, it is better to take out the pump and store it in a bucket of water that is frost-free (even if it is frost resistant). Make sure that the catch is never underwater. 

Domani uses titanium and zinc plates welded with tin. Zinc contains 4% silver, making it extremely durable

In contact with water, moisture and air, zinc oxidizes naturally. First, zinc creates a white powder to protect itself, then a light gray patina appears. Once the oxidation process is complete, the appearance of the material is final.  This patina constitutes the aesthetic character of the zinc material.

Our recommendations for a homogeneous patina: take a garden hose, water the fountain, let it dry for an hour, and repeat the process three to four times.
